Welcome to Kalaeloa Preschool

Ka lae loa, Hawaiian for "long point", occupies the location of the former Naval Air Station Barbers Point which closed in 1999 and subsequently transferred to the State of Hawai‘i. Situated about 16 miles west of downtown Honolulu, residents include both transient military families as well as locals in the Makakilo, Kapolei and Kalaeloa areas. Kalaeloa is one of the newest preschools added to the Kama‘aina Kids ‘ohana in 2009.

Kalaeloa Preschool occupies roughly 496 acres and includes covered lanai's, 7 well spaced classrooms, a full kitchen, office space, a reception area and a generous parking lot.

Accredited by the National Early Childhood Program Accredition body, NECPA allows the opportunity to assess our positive environments and increase the spirit of community and family. The Accreditation also enhances our existing curriculum and help our school grow and to also focus on a higher level of health and safety awareness. Accreditation is just one of many standards met by Kalaeloa Preschool.

We accept a variety of payment methods including major credit cards, debit cards and tuition assistance including DHS, Helping Hands, Pauahi Keiki Scholars, NACCRRA, and Preschool Open Doors.
