How do I register for A+ Online?
Online registration is available for all A+ and DOE Before Care locations for the 2023-2024 School Year only. This includes registering for A+, Before Care and DHS Subsidy.
IMPORTANT: THIS IS ONLY FOR 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR. YOUR REGISTRATION ALSO DOES NOT GUARANTEE ACCEPTANCE.
The A+ Program's Site Coordinator or representative will contact you once your registration is reviewed to let you know enrollment status. Should you have any questions, please contact the A+ Site Coordinator.
Please note if you are applying for DHS Subsidy, to have your required documentation ready to upload. More information can be found during the online process.
Online Registration is also mobile-friendly so it's easy to use a smartphone, tablet or PC.

How do I register for A+ Offline?
STEP 1
Complete the following forms found in the downloadable PDF. Please note registering in-person or via hard copy will delay processing so we highly recommend registering online.

STEP 2
Submit the forms by returning the packet to your school office. Your A+ Site Coordinator will contact you regarding your status.

How do I apply for Subsidized Monthly Fees?
Subsidized Monthly Fee Application
If registering online, you will have the opportunity to apply online. Otherwise, please download and complete the Subsidy Application form if applying for subsidized A+ tuition.
- Only list parents/guardians and dependents in the household. Listing grandparents, aunts, and uncles are not necessary, if they are not a guardian to the child.
- When processing the application, proof of most recent monthly income will be collected. Therefore, at the start of the school year, you will be asked to submit pay stubs for July 2022, even if paystubs may have been submitted for earlier months.
- If a DHS Form 728 or Foster certificate is submitted, paystubs are not necessary.
Submit the application by returning the completed application to your school office. Your A+ Site Coordinator will contact you regarding your status.

What is the A+ Fee for 2023-2024 school year?
The A+ Parent Fee is $120/month per child should family qualify under the A+ program. Otherwise, it is $200/child. Family may also be eligible to be 100% subsidized by applying for Subsidy.

Do you offer automatic payments?
As your A+ childcare provider, we are excited to offer you the convenience of automatic tuition payments. You’ll no longer need to write a check or remember your checkbook when you’re picking up your child at the end of a hectic day. Your payment will be safely and securely processed by Kama‘aina Kids, giving you peace of mind that your tuition has been paid on time! It’s easy to enroll and even easier to participate for both A+ and Before Care programs! We are able to process credit cards or your checking/savings account.
All major credit cards are accepted, including debit cards with Visa or MasterCard emblem. Payments will be processed beginning with the first business day of each month.
Once your child is registered and accepted into the program, you will be emailed a secured link to sign-up for automatic tuition payments.

Request for Accommodation Form
If you were asked to complete a Request for Accommodation form, please download, complete, and submit to the school's A+ Site Coordinator. This provides access to the A+ program for children with special needs and other considerations.

How do I register for a Before Care only site?
Download and complete the Before Care registration form and submit to the Before Care school program directly.
