At Elite Sports Academy, we foster the development of a more complete player by implementing a systematic method of teaching basic fundamentals and advanced training for players, coaches and officials.

Clinics Overview

Clinics are held at different locations throughout the islands. If your team or league needs a customized clinic at your location please contact us & we’ll bring our clinic to you! We have worked with several leagues & teams to provide a customized clinic ranging from players, coaches & sport psychology clinics. We will work with your team or organization to ensure the instruction is catered to your needs.

Players Clinics

The players clinics benefit both medial and advanced players by grouping them based on their age and skill level. Players of all ages and levels gain an in-depth knowledge about their sport. The curriculum for each clinic is developed by the Academy Director who is a proven educator in their sport. Each clinic includes such topics as:

• Rules & terminology of the sport
• Proper warm-up & stretching techniques
• Mental preparation
• A basic introduction for medial players & a more in-depth approach for the advanced player
• Fundamental drills specific for the sport
• Individual & team concepts

All players will learn these techniques with a hands-on approach & will be given an assessment at the end of the clinic.

Coaches Clinics

The coaches clinics help coaches of all levels to have a better understanding of the game. In addition to discussing items specific to that sport, it will include such topics as:

• Getting started
• Assessing your players
• Time & patience
• Proper equipment for coaches and players
  • Teaching the game
• Proper stretching & warm-up techniques
• Developing a practice plan
  • Developing proper player/coach and parent/coach relationships

A hands-on approach will be used. In addition to drills being demonstrated by staff, participants will be invited to execute the drills first-hand to have a better understanding.

Officials Clinics

The officials clinics is overseen by the Academy Director and conducted by High School & Collegiate officials. In addition to discussing rules specific to that sport, it will include such topics as:

• Proper mechanics
• Correct positioning on the field or court
• Dealing with unruly coaches, parents & players
• Proper equipment

All clinics are conducted throughout the year, not just during the primary seasonal sport.

All clinics are approved by and overseen by the Academy Director. Since the oversight by the Academy Director is paramount, this ensures the same topics are taught correctly and consistently at any location across all Islands..
